Why do we need you ?
- Track shipments (with transporters) to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for transportation-related inquiries
- Identify and address potential delays or issues in the transportation process.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve logistical challenges.
- Generate reports on transportation metrics and performance.
- Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and carriers.
Is this job for you ?
- The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, Transport Management or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain/ Planning, or transportation coordination.
- Your exceptional communication and strong negotiation skills.
- Ability to collaborate with different stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking tools and your Computer literate, Excel (advanced), SAP R3, OPSI, MS Office will set you apart.
