 Job Description    

  • This position is responsible for leading trade marketing initiatives across Southern and Central Africa , while also contributing to new product development at the Lactalis International Zone level. The core objective of the role is to drive sales growth, enhance profitability, and increase the value of the assigned product portfolio and markets.

Required Skills    

  • A relevant degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 4-5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in Product Marketing, Trade Marketing or Sales Development
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, marketing mix, and promotional strategy
  • Experience in project management, packaging, advertising, and merchandising
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English and a good level of French is required, particularly for communication across French-speaking African countries
  • Able to travel to Southern and Central Africa as and when required

Duties & Responsibilities    

  • Define appropriate BTL activation per country / Brand / Category in alignment with Global Export Marketing Team
  • Drive BTL activations: Propose creative actions, and coordinate field activations in synergy with media campaigns for Central & Southern Africa. (PrĂ©sident, Bridel, Lactel, Parmalat, Cremora)
  • Lead new product development projects from SA to Global Export Division: Manage feasibility studies, launch plans, and ensure timely execution in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Foster cross-country collaboration: build strong relationships with trade marketing teams and customers and deploy impactful marketing actions across the region
  • Prepare reports to monitor key marketing/trade marketing actions and ensure budget tracking.
  • Analyze Panels and market datas to adjust strategic orientations
  • Elaborate and Contribute the Budget and CODIV presentation to the Zone / Group in alignment with the Expor GM on Trade Marketing & Marketing topics
