Requirements:
- Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification with relevant experience as Telecom Operator. Computer literacy, good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work under pressure. Be able to operate an electronic switchboard. Excellent listening skills and telephone etiquette.
- Be willing to work 12-hour shifts, night shifts, weekends, public holidays and overtime when required. Willing to work a 12 hour shift system weekends ,public holydays, night duty and overtime when required.
Duties:
- Answering and transferring calls to rightful recipients. Reporting faulty tele-communication defects to the Supervisor.
- Updating of internal telephone list / directory. Provide pin codes to users. Monitor codes barring as well as call loggings.
- Administering and distributing telephone accounts. Arranging activation of new lines. Keeping all record of telephone accounts as well as extensions.
