Job Description
- An ISP specializing in providing INTERNET, VOICE and HOSTING Solutions, is seeking a permanent opportunity for a skilled and experienced Support Technician, based in Umhlanga, Durban.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answering support phone calls and emails
- Managing a ticketing system and updating customers until their issues are fully resolved
- Providing remote support and troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Proactive monitoring of connectivity to identify those in need of assistance
- Router and VOIP setup/configuration
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- A Matric certificate (Grade 12) as a minimum
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must be able to work well within a team environment and manage deadlines
- Previous experience in networking and IT support will be an advantage
- A driver’s license and your own vehicle will be an advantage
Remuneration:
- Market related salary based on experience and qualifications
