Superintendent (Electrical Control, Public Lighting & Connections) at Greater Tzaneen Municipality

Salary: 

• R 657 001. 56 per annum (Job level 5)
• The job purpose of Superintendent is to plan and maintain public lighting, traffic lighting and connections.

Key performance areas: The Superintendent must ensure that the daily work is done to satisfaction and to achieve the objectives of Council. He/she will be responsible for: 

• Plan and coordinate electrical projects 
• Create and maintain plant database and record system 
• Perform strategic planning, construction, maintenance activities Coordinates and supervise activities of staff
• Monitor utilisation of machinery, equipment, tools and materials
• Perform administrative and human resources related activities.

Requirements: 

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related qualification, 
• Electrical Trade Test, 
• Operation Regulation for High Voltage System (ORHVS) Certificate, 
• Driver’s license.
• Three (03) years’ relevant experience.
