Job Description
- A leading construction and engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineer to join their team in Paarl Cape Town.
- The successful candidate will be involved in the design, analysis, and supervision of structural projects, including steel and concrete structures, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for steel, concrete, and mixed-material structures.
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Conduct load calculations and finite element analysis (FEA) for various projects.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project teams to ensure design integrity.
- Review and check structural designs for compliance with local codes and standards.
- Assist in project management, including scheduling, reporting, and coordination.
- Participate in site inspections and provide technical guidance as needed.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in structural engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software
- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and engineering standards.
