Speech Therapist Grade 1 to 3 (Child an Adolescent) (5/8th post) at Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness

Location: Lentegeur Hospital, Chief Directorate: Metro Health Services

Qualifications

• An appropriate qualification that allows for the required registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as practitioner in Speech Therapist and Audiologist or Speech Therapist.
• Grade 1: None after registration with the HPCSA as either a Speech Therapist and Audiologist or Speech Therapist in respect of RSA-qualified employees. One-year relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in Speech Therapy in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform Community Service, as required in South Africa.
• Grade 2: A minimum of 10 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as either a Speech Therapist and Audiologist or Speech therapist in respect of SA-qualified employees. A Minimum of 11 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in Speech Therapy in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service, as required in South Africa.
• Grade 3: A minimum of 20 years relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA as either a Speech Therapist and Audiologist or Speech Therapist in respect of SA-qualified employees. A minimum of 21 years’ relevant experience after registration with the HPCSA in Speech Therapist and Audiologist or Speech therapist in respect of foreign qualified employees, of whom it is not required to perform community service, as required in South Africa.
