Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Valid Code B drivers’ licence
- Computer Literacy
- 3 years’ experience in similar environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist with the administrative function in the planning office
- Provide input and advise on engineering development plans
- Provide written comments on all development applications
- Attend to site construction meeting, visits and inspections
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports as per developed standards
- Provide inputs on the budgeted resources to meet objectives, monitor results and make adjustments where necessary
- Comply with Governance and Risk Management requirements
- Ensure implementation of council policies and legislation
- Keep up to date with legislation associated with engineering activities related to the section
- Ensure service level agreements are aligned with the Batho Pele principles, monitor feedback to customers and support continued customer satisfaction in the planning office.
- Build and sustain relationships with supervisor and colleagues in support of divisional and sectional objectives
