Job Context    

  • Servest Parking has a vacancy for a Site Manager to join the team. The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of one or more parking facilities. The role ensures smooth site functioning, high levels of customer satisfaction, staff management, adherence to company policies, and achievement of financial and operational targets.  The position is based in the Western Cape area, reporting to the Operations Manager.  The successful individual must have the ability to lead and motivate people.

Minimum Requirements    

  • Grade 12
  • Business Management Qualification or Relevant  
  • 3-5 years experience in a parking management, facilities management or operations supervision
  • Experience managing a team and working with the public
  • Familiarity with parking enforcement and local transport regulations is an advantage 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Good understanding of parking systems and technology (eg ANPR, ticketing machines, payment kiosks)
  • Good Computer Skills (Ms Word/Excel/Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Professional individual who can provide and maintain high service and quality standards
  • Driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
  • Clear criminal record
  • Ability to work efficiently and under pressure
  • Must reside in the Western Cape area

Duties & Responsibilities    

  • Oversee the daily operations of the parking sites to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Monitor entry/exit systems, payment machines, signage and lighting to ensure all infrastructure is operational.
  • Implement and maintain operational procedures in line with company standards.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching and ensure compliance with HR policies.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing level to meet operational needs.
  • Resolve customer complaints and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote excellent customer service by training staff and setting high service standards.
  • Monitor and act on customer feedback or incident reports.
  • Ensure accurate daily reconciliation of cash, card, and digital payments.
  • Monitor revenue performance and identify opportunities to increase occupancy and turnover.
  • Implement strategies to reduce revenue leakage or fraudulent activities.
  • Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
  • Maintain incident/accident records and take corrective actions as required.
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Liaise with head office and other departments (e.g., maintenance, IT) as needed.
  • Track site KPIs, including occupancy rates, revenue per space, and customer satisfaction metrics.
