Job Description
Equipment calibration:
- Assist with workflow for the equipment calibrations (Mass pieces; scales; pH meter; hygrometer; Lux meter; Metal detectors & Magnet thermometers) according to log sheet
- Ensure the calibration log sheet is up to date
- Call & communicate with suppliers of all the equipment (Mass pieces; scales; pH meter; hygrometer; Lux Meter, Magnets; Metal detectors & thermometers) that needs to be calibrated to come on site and do calibration. (
- Arrange and send equipment for calibration
- Verify that weekly thermometer verification is done and sign off record
- Ensure verification and calibration records and Certificates Updates and Filing
- Maintaining the calibration file.
- Ensuring hand-held measuring devices are sent for calibration.
Opening of NCR’s, Follow up of NCR’s, Weekly NCR Tracker
- Assist QAT’s to log all complaints onto the SheqX system.
- Raise all internal/external audits NCRs onto the SheqX
- Tracking of corrective actions and preventative actions
- Facilitate the weekly technical reports and tracker
- Update the customer complaints dashboard & RTVs tracker as the complaints come through.
- Update the NCR tracker and share weekly
- Update yearly internal audit schedule
- Assist with Internal Audits
- Assisting with documentation, records and files during both internal and external audits
- Compile audit action plans
- Obtaining sales reports for monthly report
- Creating BR’s on the tracker & Workflows (e.g., For Orders)
- Creating workflows for Service providers, ensuring invoices are receipted.
- Ordering of consumables & stationery & updating the consumables tracker
- Upload SHEQ documents on Sheq-x
- Updating & controlling documents for QFSMS
- Assist with Monthly reports
- Trending micro results (Environmental Swab Results: TVC, Coliforms, E. coli); Hand Swab Capturing, Product Results, Water Results, Listeria Results, Cleaning Efficiency
- Assist with Traceability study documentation
Minimum Requirements
- Matric/ Grade 12
- National Diploma in Food Technology/Biotechnology or Equivalent
- Computer literacy (MS Office, Excel, Power point)
- Interna auditing will be an advantage
