The Opportunity
- We’re on the lookout for a Senior Test Analyst to join our Financial Services Engineering Team — a group of passionate professionals building reliable, scalable, and user-centric fintech products.
- As a Senior Test Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of quality — ensuring our software not only meets technical standards but truly delivers for our customers. You’ll work hands-on across both manual and automated testing, contributing to new product releases, integrations, and system improvements that touch millions of users.
- This role is ideal for someone who loves precision, thrives in agile environments, and enjoys being part of a fast-paced, high-impact team.
What You’ll Do
Quality Engineering & Automation
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases and scripts for both manual and automated testing using Playwright (JavaScript).
- Maintain and enhance our automation framework to ensure scalable, maintainable test coverage.
- Test APIs and system integrations to guarantee seamless data flow between platforms.
Functional & Financial Accuracy
- Apply accounting and financial knowledge to validate the accuracy and integrity of financial transactions and reporting within our systems.
- Ensure compliance, correctness, and reliability across financial software modules.
- Collaboration & Agile Delivery
- Work closely with developers, product owners, and business analysts within cross-functional Scrum teams to embed QA best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement of both process and product.
- Analysis & Reporting
- Identify, log, and analyse software defects — collaborating with engineering teams to drive efficient resolutions.
- Produce clear, structured documentation of test plans, results, and improvement recommendations.
- Provide transparency on testing progress, coverage, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring
- Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Test Analyst, with strong hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
- Solid proficiency in JavaScript and automation tools such as Playwright (or similar frameworks).
- Deep understanding of API and integration testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and their relevance to financial software.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field (preferred).
Nice to Have:
- Software testing certification (e.g., ISTQB).
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Xray, TestRail).
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and practices.
- Familiarity with financial or accounting software products.
You’ll Thrive Here If You Are:
- Passionate about ensuring software excellence and user trust.
- Curious and adaptable, always learning new testing tools and methods.
- Collaborative — someone who values teamwork as much as technical skill.
- Analytical, precise, and driven by problem-solving.
