- Datacentrix Cape Town has a permanent vacancy for a Senior Server Engineer with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Hyper-V, and Azure skills. You must have 7 to 10 year’s experience supporting datacentre software and supporting Tier 3 escalations.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- Matric and MCSE
- 7 years plus experience supporting Microsoft Exchange 2010 or higher
- 7 years plus experience supporting Active Directory and HyperV
- 5 years experience supporting SCCM and exposure to OS Deployment
Must have experience in the following :
- Performed infrastructure administration on various platforms including Hyper-V, and Windows servers
- Manage and support Microsoft SCCM for software deployment, patching, and system compliance.
- Administer and optimize Hyper-V environments, including virtual machine provisioning and performance tuning.
- Oversee Intune for device management, application deployment, and endpoint security.
- Configure and maintain Azure resources, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services.
- Monitor system health, respond to incidents, and resolve server-related issues proactively.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects and security initiatives.
