Introduction
- Reporting to General Manager Technology and Engineering, the Senior Manager Engineering will be responsible to provide strategic direction and assurance for appropriate technology selection, design, implementation, operation and maintenance production risks management of the plant and optimise both short-and long-term plant health and availability of Eskom’s existing generating fleet.

Minimum requirements
Qualification(s):
- B Degree in Engineering at a NQF 7 level with 360 credits or
- B Tech in Engineering at a NQF 7 level with 360 credits or an
- Advanced Diploma in Engineering at a NQF level 7 with 360 credits
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years extensive experience in plant design, maintenance and operating practices, engineering management in power generation technologies, technical and technology leadership experience.
Professional Registration Body:
- Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
