Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum: Appropriate Recognized Degree at NQF Level 8 in Commerce, Accounting, Engineering Sciences, Natural Sciences or equivalent.
  • Desired: A Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering or Public Administration (e.g. MBA, MBL, MSc or equivalent qualification at NQF Level 9).
  • Recognised membership by a professional body (e.g. ECSA, SACNASP, SAICE, IODSA, etc) is desirable
  • Additional training or certification in public sector governance, compliance, or financial management is an advantage is desirable
  • Minimum: Minimum of 10 years in business development, strategic planning, or investment analysis, ideally in utilities, municipal, or public sector environments.
  • Proven track record of leading projects with accountability and transparent stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience in structuring deals and partnerships that are fair, efficient, and compliant with governance requirements.
