Responsibilities
What we’re looking for:
- Selling of Essential manufacturing products to customers according to AOP
- Maintain Market share and strategize with customers.
- Lead, drive and embed a customer focused sales culture.
- Focus agenda on terms of Performance MTD, Execution and Discipline KPI’s
- Ensuring 100% hit rate of outlets within route (Pace)
- Individual In Market visits with customers to address specific issues
- Business development and growth of customer base
- Attend meetings as and when required
- Proactively develop and implement internal and external business development strategies to achieve business growth and increase market share.
- Pivot strategic directions and align change
- Conduct regular training sessions with training team on critical business skills
Qualifications
What will qualify you for the role:
- 3 year Business / Commercial Tertiary qualification or equivalent
- 3 years working experience in a Bakery FMCG environment, with 1 year in a bakery selling role / experience
- Knowledge of business
- Negotiating abilities
- Understanding Margins
- Strategic thinking
- Knowledge of Industrial/Plant bakery to improve output.
- Upskill knowledge of baking processes: Confectionary and other baking products.
- Problem solving in plant bakeries and baking product knowledge
- Interpretation of Alveograph readings and apply to baking processes
- Computer Literacy
