Purpose of the role:

  • The Sales representative will be responsible for selling products and services by finding leads, demonstrating offerings, negotiating deals, and maintaining strong customer relationships to achieve revenue targets and drive company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identifying and contacting new prospects through methods like cold calling, referrals, and networking to generate sales leads.
  • Product/Service Knowledge: Gaining thorough knowledge of the company’s offerings to effectively educate customers on features, benefits, and how they solve problems.
  • Customer Interaction: Engaging with customers to understand their needs and preferences, providing information, and answering questions about products and services.
  • Demonstrations & Presentations: Delivering product demonstrations and sales presentations to potential clients to showcase value and suitability.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Negotiating contracts, terms, and prices with clients to finalize deals and process sales agreements.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Achieving Sales Goals: Meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets (quotas) to contribute to the company’s overall revenue and commercial growth.
  • Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitoring market trends, competitor offerings, and industry developments to position products effectively.
  • Collaboration: Working with internal sales teams to coordinate sales efforts and programs.
  • Reporting: Preparing sales reports, tracking sales activity, and maintaining client records in customer relationship management systems.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience in sales.
  • Understanding of supply chain principles.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and operational demands.
