Project Implementation Agent at Drakenstein Municipality

JOB PURPOSE:

• To provide professional electrical experience, by supervision and monitor construction work of service providers to ensure quality, quantity and standards are complied with in the best interest of council. To monitor & supervise the execution of electrical operational and capital projects in the best interest of the council.

SELECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST:

• Trade test, qualified artisan in the electrical industry N2 (Heavy Current)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Code B driver’s license
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, GIS)
• Project Management Certificate
• Human relations and communication skills
• Conflict handling skills
• Ability to give attention to detail
• High level of responsibility
• Ability to work under pressure without tolerance for errors

EXPERIENCE:

• 5 years relevant experience
• 3 years relevant with HV, MV, & LV reticulation and the installation thereof
• 1 year relevant project management skills
• 2 years as Senior Artisan in the electrical industry of municipal environment
