Mission of the role:
- The Product Support Technician provides Level 2 technical support for Epiroc’s Digital Safety Solutions, including Collision Avoidance Systems (CAS) and other connected field technologies.
- This role supports both customers and internal stakeholders by diagnosing and resolving technical issues, analysing device data logs, coordinating warranty evaluations and returns, and assisting with configuration and parameter setups.
- The technician plays a vital role in ensuring system reliability, product performance, and customer satisfaction across global deployments.
Your Mission:
- Analyse device data logs to identify faults, anomalies, or performance trends.
- Coordinate warranty returns and keep customers informed through the process.
- Support configuration and parameter setup for global teams via remote assistance.
- Record support cases and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Improve support processes and documentation through feedback and findings.
- Stay current with product updates through regular training.
- Assist with field deployments or remote diagnostics as required.
- Adjust working hours to support teams across time zones.
Your Profile:
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- 2–4 years of experience in technical support, field service, or electronics troubleshooting
- Experience with digital safety systems, industrial automation, or mining technology preferred
- Familiarity with support ticketing systems and customer service workflows
- Experience in warranty coordination and remote technical assistance is advantageous
