Procurement Manager at uShaka Marine World

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Matric/ Grade 12 
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent. 

EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

• 5 year’s Supply Chain Management Experience at Middle Management level in a highly regulated Supply Chain Management. 
• 5 years’ experience in leading a team at Middle Management level. 
• Knowledge of and experience in working with Public Finance Management Act and Treasury Regulations. 
• Knowledge of and experience in working with Municipal Finance Management Act.  

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB 

• To ensure all purchases of the company are done within legislation provisions and requirements. 
• Facilitate the formulation and implementation of SCM policy and standard operating procedures. 
• Formulate and implement the SCM operational plan that is aligned with the Finance strategy. 
• Guide Procurement functions with overall responsibility to develop and maintain an efficient Procurement service in line with the MFMA, SCM Policy of the entity and the Procurement Regulations.
