Role Requirements

  • To be successful in this role, you must hold a degree (NQF 7) in Human Resources or a related field. This is a non-negotiable requirement, as it forms the foundation of your ability to navigate the complexities of people practices with confidence and credibility.
  • You must also have a valid Code B driver’s license. You bring with you at least three years of proven experience as an HR generalist, with a solid grasp of HR best practices across the employee lifecycle.
  • Your experience has equipped you to handle the full spectrum of HR responsibilities, from talent acquisition to employee relations, and everything in between. You understand how to balance business needs with people priorities, and you have a track record of delivering thoughtful, people-centered solutions.

Skills Requirements

  • You are well-versed in the legislation that governs HR practices and know how to apply it with integrity and fairness. You are comfortable working with HR metrics and reporting, and you use data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement. You are proficient in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software, and you handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Your business acumen allows you to align HR initiatives with organisational goals, and your analytical mindset helps you troubleshoot and solve problems effectively.
  • You are always looking for ways to improve, and you foster a culture of learning and adaptability wherever you go. Your interpersonal skills are exceptional—you build rapport easily and collaborate confidently across all levels of the organisation. You communicate clearly and thoughtfully, both in writing and in conversation.
  • You are highly organised, able to juggle multiple priorities, and committed to accuracy in everything you do. You are also proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, using tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook to support your work.
