- We are looking for an experienced and passionate People Lead to partner with the business to ensure operational effectiveness and optimal management of human capital. This role is a strategic HR partner, driving a high-performing culture and aligning business objectives with strategic HR initiatives. You’ll also be responsible for overall compliance and providing functional leadership to the HR community.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
- As a People Lead, you will be responsible for a wide range of strategic and operational duties, including:
- Operational/Professional/Business: Contributing to strategic HR planning, guiding people decisions, monitoring employment costs and headcount, managing joiners/movers/leavers, and partnering with senior management.
- Leadership: Driving business partnerships, leading change management, implementing leadership development interventions, and maintaining effective business systems and policies.
- Management: Providing strategic alignment to the HR strategy, leading its execution within Twisp, driving organizational renewal strategies and functional HR projects.
- Relationship: Acting as a link between business needs and HR Centers of Excellence, developing networks, and ensuring consistent benchmarking.
- Innovation: Developing initiatives to improve HR’s impact, reviewing HR service levels, and facilitating knowledge sharing.
- Day-to-Day: Executing talent management strategies, fostering positive employee relations, managing performance objectives, ensuring legal compliance, updating HR policies, driving Employment Equity plans, utilizing HR analytics, preparing HR reports, conducting data integrity audits, and building Rewards capabilities.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For:
- To qualify for this strategic role, you should:
- Hold an HR degree/diploma at NQF level 7 or higher education in Business Administration and/or HR Management.
- Have Human Resources experience (5-6 years minimum) in retail/FMCG is preferred.
- Possess strong leadership and project management skills.
- Have working knowledge of BCEA & LRA (Basic Conditions of Employment Act & Labour Relations Act).
- Be fluent in English.
- Have a driver’s license, a reliable car, and the ability to travel
