Job Description
Key Performance Output

The successful candidate will be reporting to Organisational Design Specialist and will be responsible but not limited to the following:

  • Gather and submit information that will serve as input to the development of the business plan.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of organisational standards, policies and procedures within span of control and monitor implementation to ensure full compliance.
  • Plan team activities.
  • Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures.
  • Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure EE monitoring and reporting through facilitating planning documentation, reporting documentation and continuously gathering monthly statistics and consolidation of reports.
  • Collate accurate and required data for BBBEE verification
  • Coordinate group and operational transformation, WFP and Org design, action plans, budget expenditure, reports and submissions.
  • Implement org design annual and project action plans in liaison with HR Management, Rem and Rewards as well as line management.
  • Consolidate and submit requests for Job Evaluation Committee
  • Implement org design annual and project action plans in liaison with HR Management, Rem and Rewards as well as line management.
  • Support the design and execute engagement strategies, including engagement surveys, feedback mechanisms, and action plans to improve employee experience and retention.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of an annual calendar in collaboration with relevant internal and external stakeholders to implement employee wellness initiatives to support overall well-being and engagement.
  • Oversee EAP initiatives, ensuring employees have access to support services that enhance productivity and well-being.
  • Collate and submit reports to required Governance committees.
  • Assess expenditure and resolve gaps.
  • Support identification, implementation and development of processes to optimise cost efficiency.
  • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships to ensure achievement of organisational goals and Stakeholder contract updates.
  • Provide specialised technical / professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 

  • Bachelors Degree (3 years – 360 credits) in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology (NQF 7) is essential
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience as HR Generalist with numerical exposure across functions is essential
  • Code B;Motor vehicle licence is essential
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office
