To qualify for this position, you need:

  • Matric.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in training, lending, mortgage origination, or property finance at a senior level, experience gained with Bond Origination company prefered.
  • Strong understanding of residential property lending.
  • Exposure to commercial and / or investment lending advantageous.
  • Proven ability to design, deliver, and implement training programs across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Solid knowledge of banking policies, lending regulations, and property market trends.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team oversight, coaching, and performance management.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills (internal and external stakeholders).
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven with a proven ability to deliver strategic input.

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Training & Development:

  • Design and deliver onboarding and ongoing training for Bond Consultants, Conversion Specialists, and IGrow staff.
  • Provide training and thought leadership on residential and investment lending; support commercial lending where required.
  • Conduct workshops and events to build performance internally and externally (sales teams, estate agents, developers, attorneys).
  • Ensure consistent professional standards and reinforce IGrow’s value proposition.

Market Knowledge & Business Development:

  • Stay informed of lending policies, banking requirements, and property market trends.
  • Equip consultants and staff with skills to build pipelines, manage relationships, and drive growth.
  • Identify business opportunities and contribute strategic input to senior management.

Oversight of Bond Consultants:

  • Monitor and guide performance to ensure effective business generation, accurate application submissions, client updates, and adherence to compliance (POPIA, exclusivity, conflict of interest).
  • Support consultants in meeting conversion and performance targets.
  • Oversight of Conversion Specialists (Home Loans Administration Support):
  • Provide operational guidance to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficient processing.
  • Monitor daily follow-ups, escalations, appeals, and system updates.
  • Support consultants in achieving successful deal conversions and registrations.

National Scope:

  • Travel across South Africa to deliver training, provide oversight, and strengthen business development initiatives.
