MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  • To promote MHR and grow MHR’s business by contributing to marketing initiatives, attracting new clients, potential candidates and managing the recruitment department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

  • Attract and source new clients, responsible for travelling to meet potential clients nationwide and negotiating contracts.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relations.
  • Identify, plan and coordinate events to promote MHR to prospective clients and candidates, while also driving marketing initiatives in collaboration with MHR regional teams and the Operations Department.
  • Assist with duties such as and not limited to website design, management and maintenance, developing and implementing effective search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies.
  • Provide specialised recruitment support (job training is available).
  • Manage and coordinate recruitment requests, projects and team activities (job training is available).
  • Oversee MHR recruitment systems, folders and inboxes while providing support to relevant stakeholders  (job training is available).

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION

  • Grade 12
  • Human Resources Management or General Business or Marketing Qualification

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3-5 years’ marketing and sales experience (sound experience in promoting a company).
  • Solid experience in acquiring new clients and negotiating contracts.
  • Experience in promoting a company through various social media platforms, while effectively managing participant enquiries and feedback in a constructive and professional manner.
  • Having approximately 3 to 5 years of experience in recruitment and selection is advantageous, with job training available.
  • Proven experience in advertising job vacancies on social media platforms is beneficial, with job training available.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in recruitment and selection within a healthcare environment is advantageous, with job training available.
  • Hands-on experience in website Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) with a focus on improving organic search rankings and website traffic

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Excellent knowledge of employer branding principles (i.e. expos, open days, congresses, etc.).
  • Maintaining a professional Image (well-presented) and exceptional client service skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with excellent interpersonal, persuasion, and negotiation skills
  • High standards of excellence and attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Display excellent planning and organising skills.
  • Skilled in effectively managing a small team to achieve optimal performance
  • Having knowledge and understanding of recruitment processes — such as advertising, sourcing, screening, and assessment — is beneficial, and job training is available
  • The ability to compile and interpret relevant recruitment reports is beneficial, with job training available
  • Knowledge of all relevant legislative and statutory requirements (including but not limited to: Basic Conditions of Employment Act, and Employment Equity Act)
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.) with Excel intermediary skills (v-lookup, etc.)
