REQUIREMENTS:

  • Grade 12
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration or Relevant Degree, Honours Degree will be an added advantage
  • Computer literacy
  • Code EB driver’s license
  • 5-7 years’ administration experience, and at least 2 years at supervisory level

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifies with the broad Corporate Administrative strategy and, defines/ addresses critical functional requirements to support the Corporate Services departmental objectives.
  • Manages the key corporate functional areas of Council Support and Records management sections.
  • Directs and controls outcomes associated with utilization, productivity and performance of personnel within the section
  • Develops, review and implement functional policies
  • Manages the functioning and document management of specific decision-making processes associated with meetings of council, executive and other committees of Council
  • Manages administration processes associated with vacancies and appointment on Council
  • Manages the implementation of an organization wide system for the management of diverse range of records
