Manager, Warehouse, Sky Services at DSV

Main purpose of role

• Head up warehouse and manage the team to ensure internal & external service delivery

Duties and responsibilities 

• Managing intake, preparation and loading of cargo for export purposes.
• Maintain accurate material levels
• Management of loading equipment and vehicles
• Ensure operating costs are kept to a minimum
• Housekeeping and maintenance
• Manage warehouse staff, including scheduling shifts, delegating tasks and ensuring adherence to company policies.
• Managing all SLA’s

Job related requirements.

• Minimum of _5_ years experience as Warehouse Manager in air freight exports environment.
• Excellent understanding of industry and related job requirements for freight forwarding.
• Experienced in staff management; building and leading a team to perform at maximum capacity.
• Extensive knowledge pertaining to airlines, ground handlers
• Manage Service Level Agreements, Vehicle maintenance & Licensing
• Stock control and ordering of packaging material
• Managing general housekeeping pertaining to the building, warehouse, coldrooms and surrounding perimeter.
• Electives
