Requirements
- A relevant 3-year tertiary qualification
- A postgraduate degree or CA(SA) would be preferred
- 8 years or more relevant experience with proven management experience at a senior level
- Experience in an auditing environment is required
- Experience in organisational performance management in local government would be advantageous
Key Performance Areas
- Managing and leading the oversight and compliance of the City’s scorecards and regulatory performance management processes
- Facilitate the process of oversight and compliance to ensure stakeholder buy-in.
- Strengthen the City’s evidence-based performance to meet legislative and audit requirements across corporate, legislative, and municipal entity scorecards.
- Manage the quality review, verifications and oversight process of performance management information
- Managing and coordinate successful liaison between the City, the Office of the Auditor General and the Internal Audit Department
- Financial and contract management
- Staff management.
