Job Specification

  • Reporting to the Senior Manager Logistics, the incumbent would be responsible for supervising certain areas within the distribution center, which includes overseeing staff, inventory and operational & administrative systems and controls.

Minimum Requirements

  • NQF 5 or equivalent
  • 4 years related experience
  • Intermediate MS Office skills and WMS and Blue Yonder experience
  • Code 08 Drivers license

  • Forecast and planning of warehousing space allocations requirements to support DC throughput growth

  • Initiation and execution of DC resources optimization initiative
  • Optimising warehousing operations (materials Handling)
  • Continuous evaluation of distribution processes and identification of opportunities for improvement
  • Execution of policies and standards pertaining to materials handling and ensuring compliance to safety standards

  • Set performance expectations provide guidance and foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture
