Job Purpose
- To support the faculty and department in pursuit of its academic and research objectives which include to teach according to a set syllabus; undertake research and innovation; contribute to curriculum development and design; engage in work integrated learning and develop service-learning activities.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- A Master’s Degree in Visual Communication Design or Graphic Design
- At least two (2) years’ relevant Lecturing experience in Higher Education
Recommendations
- Advanced working knowledge of photography for Visual Communication Design
- Working knowledge of the full Adobe Suite of software i.e Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, After Effects and Adobe XO (Subject to a competency test)
- At least two (2) years’ Industry experience in Visual Communication Design
You will be required to submit a portfolio of evidence
Specialist knowledge: Creative strategy, Branding, Copywriting, Typography, Publication, UI and UX Design, Online media
