Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting members of the party’s National Council of Provinces (NCOP) Caucus in the construction and submission of written and oral questions, and matters connected therewith.
- Assisting the Procedural Advisor: Questions in the construction and submission of written and oral questions for the party’s National Assembly (NA) Caucus, as and where necessary, and assisting with matters connected therewith.
- Keeping meticulous record of deadlines for written and oral questions as well as their answers and replies.

Job Requirements
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with administration, drafting, and research experience at an academic or professional level OR National Senior Certificate with administration, drafting, and research experience at a professional level
- Basic knowledge of Parliament and its processes
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with an emphasis on Excel to capture, sort and analyse large amounts of information

- Written communication, with the ability to draft formal correspondence
- Communication skills that will allow for the fostering of close working relationships with members of the party’s NA and NCOP Caucuses and cooperation with other units in the Parliamentary operation
