  • This is a strategic opportunity to lead the design and implementation of governance frameworks that ensure secure, compliant, and value-driven information use across a complex organisation.
  • You will play a key role in developing and executing information governance strategies, establishing policy and process frameworks, enabling organisational awareness, and embedding governance practices into day-to-day operations — including support for AI governance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
  • 8–10 years of professional experience in data management or information governance;
  • Strong knowledge of governance maturity models and best practices, ideally within financial services or regulatory environments;
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders and drive cultural change around information use and security.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conduct maturity assessments of information governance and security across the organisation;
  • Develop and implement governance standards, processes, and procedures aligned to strategic objectives;
  • Update and maintain tools and methodologies supporting the information strategy;
  • Facilitate information sharing agreements, classification alignment, and vetting protocols;
  • Embed governance practices into business processes, project lifecycles, and analysis frameworks;
  • Define and track metrics to monitor governance effectiveness and support compliance;
  • Build organisational capability through training, enablement, and stakeholder engagement;
  • Guide integration of AI governance into broader information governance processes;
  • Support remediation efforts and provide ongoing advisory services across business units;
  • Contribute to the development of artefacts such as data dictionaries, glossaries, catalogues, and lineage.
