Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:
- Grade 12
- ODETDP qualifications would be advantageous
- Basic knowledge of the mining industry
- Occupational health and safety standards
- Facilitation skills and qualifications
Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
- 1 years’ experience in facilitation
- MD Office Experience and computer literate
- Must ensure all attendees complete the induction register
- Facilitate all the induction material, giving extra focus to those employees that don’t understand concepts
- Oversee the CBT induction process and assessment, including marking when required
- Complete the induction process flow, which allows access to the mine.
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:
- Compliance and application of Sect 22 and 23 of the Mine Health and Safety Act
- Always observing health and safety regulations
- Responsible for the housekeeping of the induction venue
- Return attendance sheets and evaluation forms to the Training Administrator
- Set up the training room ready for delegates
- Prepare certificates and pass out documentation for staff completed induction and send out to sites
