The Department of Landscape in the Directorate of Building and Estate seeks to appoint Grounds Keepers X 10. This is a one year fixed-term contract at the Giyani Campus.
INSTRUCTIONS:

- General garden maintenance
- Cleaning of garden beds and surroundings
- Maintenance of garden trees
- Sweeping and blowing of hard surface areas
- Litter removal and control
- Pest Weed control
- Sport field maintenance
- Ad-hoc duties assigned by team leaders
Academic Qualification:
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 9/ABET Level 4 National Certificates)
- General Education and Training
Experience:
- One (1) year relevant experience
Other Requirements:
- Must be physically able
- Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of basic landscaping maintenance
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS)
- Knowledge of Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) and Personal Protective Clothing (PPC)
- Communications Skills
- Coordination and planning skills
