MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
- To establish and maintain Mediclinic garden/s to ensure planting and maintenance of healthy water-wise plants, neat and safe garden and entrance areas to enhance the safety and aesthetics of Mediclinic sites
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Plant and trim gardens
- Maintain vegetation
- Maintain irrigation system
- Ensure continuous quality controls
- Ensure entrances are safe and clean for entry
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 10
- DESIRED EDUCATION: Grade 12
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None
- DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Landscaping / garden design
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Plants and shrubbery (what to plant where)
- Fire,Fighting
- Garden tools (e.g. rake; saw etc.)
- Irrigation maintenance and set up
- Fertilization and herbicides (and accompanying usage and safety protocols)
- Trimming and pruning
- Insecticides (and accompanying usage and safety protocols)
- Occupational Health & Safety
