Fitter Maintenance – Klerksdorp Mill at PepsiCo

Job Overview:

• A qualified Artisan with a Fitter Trade certificate.
• Diagnose faults and repair machinery and equipment
• Execute pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical repairs
• Dismantle, fit and assemble machinery and parts
• Perform planned maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Work on high speed packaging equipment
• Manufacture parts on lathe and milling machines
• Use machine shop equipment and powered hand tools
• Install and commission machinery and equipment

Qualifications

• 4-5 years relevant experience within the manufacturing environment (FMCG)
• Relevant Technical Trade (N3)
• Grade 12
• Good Computer literacy
• Sound understanding and application of OSHA regulations
• Day Shift and after hours standby
