REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
Fire Fighter 1 & 2 certificate;
Hazmat Awareness & Hazmat Operational (SAESI);
2 Years relevant experience;
Level 3 First Aid;
Code C1 driving license;
Able bodied;
Knowledge of various firefighting techniques;
Ability to work in a team;
Ability to handle stressful conditions;
Must be able to speak, read and write in at least two of the official languages in Kouga Municipality (Afrikaans, English, and Xhosa).
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
Required to work shifts;
Required to work on weekends & public holidays
Required to work at any fire station within the area of the Authority having Jurisdiction, in accordance with Departmental policies;
Must be physical fit
