Job Title: Finops Associate (revenue Assurance Associate)
- As the FinOps Associate, you will manage reconciliations and controls for accurate merchant settlements, pay-outs, and Ozow float management. You will also handle system to account reconciliations for Ozow’s aggregation and float bank accounts. Working within the Finance team, you’ll help expand the FinOps function as Ozow grows in South Africa. By analysing and creating solid reconciliations, you’ll collaborate across departments to prevent revenue and financial leakage, ensuring high-quality products for clients and consumers. Additionally, you’ll assist the finance team with providing reconciled and validated data for month-end reporting.
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
- A sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Have worked in the FinTech industry (Pay by Bank, Card acquiring & Crypto Experience advantageous)
- SQL experience will be advantageous.
