Electrical Artisan (Properties) at Senwes

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

• Responsible for assisting the mechanical artisan in the execution of responsibilities and duties relevant to the maintenance of facilities, equipment and machinery in line with statutory & regulatory specifications and standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

• Scheduled and planned maintenance.
• Reactive breakdown maintenance.
• Assist with annual pre-season inspections.
• Assist with capital projects.
• Occupational health and safety management.
• Conduct administrative work.
• Employee management (includes mentoring and coaching of artisan assistants).

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• National Senior Certificate and N3 Certificate of Compliance (Wiremans License).
• At least 3 years experience after apprenticeship as an Electrician.

Skills/Competencies:

• Attention to detail.
• Technical skills.
• Use of basic hand and power tools.
