Qualifications and experience required:

• A relevant tertiary qualification (Horticulture). Honours degree will be an added advantage.
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications.
• An appropriate vehicle driver’s licence.
• Eight years’ relevant work experience.

Job purpose:

• Providing direction to the Parks Division through conceptualisation and management of functional operations, ensuring quality of life of communities and tourists through the provision of an aesthetically pleasing environment, development/implementation of Integrated Development Plan projects, projection of future needs associated with the disposal of the dead and directing specific managerial and communication processes supporting accomplishment of Council’s vision and mission.
• As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
