SALARY :
- Remuneration package of R896 436,00 per annum (SL 11). The inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, contribution to the Government Employee Pension Fund, medical fund and a flexible portion in terms of applicable rules. The successful candidate must enter into a performance agreement and sign employee contract.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 or equivalent plus Post Graduate Degree in Public Management within the sector of Monitoring and Evaluation plus minimum experience of five (5) years in Research of which three (3) years should be at Assistant Director level. Valid driving license.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Understand government systems in relation to the evaluation. Knowledge of Public Finance Management Act (PFMA). Understand ethical issues relating to evaluation, including potential or actual conflict of interest.
SKILLS:
- Computer Literacy. Strong Project Management Skills. Research Skills. Interpersonal Skills and Presentation skills. Report writing skills. Communication Skills. Conflict Management Skills. Policy Analysis and Evaluation. Ability to manage different stakeholders.
DUTIES:
- Provide leadership to the Evaluation team in completing projects effectively. Conduct research/collect evidence and analysis of evidence. Assess issues such as relevance (effectiveness and efficiency) value for money, impact and sustainability and recommendations. Manage evaluation resources to deliver high quality evaluation and related objectives on time to appropriate standards. Compile reports.
