About the Role

  • As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the face of Mukuru — assisting customers with their foreign exchange transactions in a friendly, professional, and compliant manner.
  • You’ll process transactions accurately, verify documents, and help customers confidently complete their money transfers. This role is all about people — providing excellent service, spotting risks, and making sure every interaction reflects Mukuru’s trusted brand.

What You’ll Do

  • Process foreign exchange transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure all customer documents are valid and legally compliant.
  • Detect and report any suspicious or fraudulent activity.
  • Manage your cash float and stock to ensure accurate balancing.
  • Stay up to date with foreign exchange systems (ICFX) and regulatory updates.
  • Maintain Mukuru’s brand standards and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Take ownership of your professional growth through ongoing training and assessments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Grade 12 / Matric (Essential)
  • 1+ year experience in Customer Service or Financial Services (Essential)
  • Foreign exchange experience (Desirable)
  • Completed or willing to complete Mukuru Forex Consultant Training Course

Knowledge of:

  • Foreign currencies
  • FICA regulations
