Qualification and experience required:
- N3 (Electrical) and Qualified Electrician or a Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- One-year relevant experience.
Job purpose:
- Performing duties with respect to the maintenance of the electricity supply on the 600 MVA load and 132 kV to MV electricity distribution network to all customers in the municipal area under normal operating and emergency fault conditions in accordance with the Electricity Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act and other appropriate regulations.
- As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment.
