Collections Manager: Natural History, Cenozoic Palaentology & Geology at Iziko South African Museum

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree relevant to the Natural History Collections Section Honours qualification relevant to the Natural History Collections Section
• At least 3 years’ experience of managing museum or archive collections of which 2 years should be at management level with a demonstrated track record of competence and success Experience in museum practice relating to Natural History

• Strategic Implementation of core business Financial Management Corporate Governance and Compliance Programmes and Projects Departmental Risk- and Disaster Management People Management Financial Management
• Development of Policies and Procedures Collections Management Collections Risk management General Operational Functions
• Collections Project Management Departmental Risk- and Disaster Management People Management Financial Management Development of Policies and Procedures
