Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
- Offloading of bulk products
- Execution of fermentation related tasks
- Product transfers
- Apply strict and accurate loss control
- Taking up of tanks for stock reconciliations
- Operation of the press and Amarula pot-still
- Sample preparations for organoleptic assessment
- Execution of daily tasks and activities to achieve departmental targets
- Ensure daily tasks are done in accordance with correct company procedures and work instructions
- Responsible for 5s activities
- Loading of bulk products
- Effective cleaning of bulk products
- Accurate and effective record keeping
- Execution of basic maintenance task
- Taking routine and non-routine samples
- Active participation in Problem Solving
- Active participation in mini business meetings
- Assist in monthly bulk stock take process
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:
- Minimum Grade 12
- Working experience in a Cellar environment will be advantageous
- Ability to work under pressure
- Team player with good communication skills
- Knowledge of safety procedures and housekeeping standards will be advantageous
- Willing and able to work extended hours(overtime) as and/or when required
- Active participation in E2 activities
