ROLE SUMMARY:
- We are seeking a dedicated and versatile College Mathematics and CAT Teacher to join our team from January 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and rigorous lessons in Mathematics (Grades 10–12) and CAT (Grades 10–12), as well as supporting Coding and Robotics (Grades 8–9).
- This role is ideal for a dynamic teacher who is passionate about both analytical and digital disciplines and can inspire students through innovative, technology-integrated teaching methods.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Mathematics, CAT, and Coding & Robotics.
- Establish a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning and critical thinking.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress and achievement.
- Reflect on and refine teaching practice to ensure ongoing professional development and excellence.
- Provide academic support through additional lessons or tutoring when required.
- Produce high-quality teaching materials and digital resources.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to the wider academic and co-curricular life of the school.
- Communicate professionally with parents and respond to queries promptly.
- Participate in school functions, meetings, and events as required.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A relevant university degree in Mathematics, Computer Applications Technology, or a related field.
- Certified teaching status and current SACE registration.
- A minimum of four years’ teaching experience at College or High School level.
- Proven experience teaching Mathematics and CAT, with exposure to Coding and Robotics advantageous.
- Familiarity with the IEB curriculum or equivalent.
- Demonstrated confidence and skill in integrating ICT into teaching and learning.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students across disciplines.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach with strong teamwork capabilities.
- A commitment to high professional standards and continuous improvement.
