Duties and Responsibilities 

Fulfilling Telesales Function 

  • Makes initial telephonic contact with prospective students within 24 hours.
  • Establish as to whether or not the student meets the entry requirements
  • If the student does not meet the entry requirements, offer an alternative course.
  • Acquires and capturing student’s details for the database.
  • Captures student’s details on the database.
  • Books consultations for the Student Advisors (Distance)
  • Discusses the course(s) in detail.
  • Manages the Lead to Application conversion rate as set out by the HSR.
  • Responds to prospect / student queries and concerns.
  • Advises students of the application and registration closing date.
  • Completes confirmation calls / reschedule appointments.
  • Completes SIMS records to track activity.

General Activities

  • Assist the Head: Student Recruitment with any related admin / marketing tasks.
  • Assisting the Student Advisors with post application tasks such as collecting payments and documentation.
  • Capturing of database on SIMS.

Competencies required:

  • High level of accuracy required in both typing and data capturing
  • Well spoken over the telephone
  • Excellent organisational and administration skills

Minimum Qualification requirements:

  • Matric essential, relevant tertiary qualification is recommended however not essential.

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years Sales/ Admin/Marketing/Customer experience/ Telemarketing.
