- As a leading player in the Food Manufacturing industry, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and making a positive impact. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Bottle Feeder at our RCL FOODS BEVERAGES operating unit.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12/ NQF 4 equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience.
Knowledge
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Storage area control
- Safety Health and Environmental aspects
- Cycle counting and reconciliation
- Stock rotation (FIFO)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Ensure correct packaging material and palletising requirements are available daily on time.
- Check that all safety mechanisms are in working condition
- Check that machine and conveyors are clean and free from foreign matter
- Report all non-conforming product / packaging to supervisor and QC for investigation
- Record and report machine failures or stoppages to Supervisor in order to action maintenance staff by means of Job card
- Ensure machine runs at rated speed and minimise waste to meet planned requirement.
- Carry out operational quality checks as per checklist during production
- Ensure that the Clean as You Go Principle is always followed
- Ensure all required production records are correctly captured, signed off and filed daily.
- Work shifts as required
