Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Forklift license
Experience
- 2 year demonstrated hands on experience in a production environment
- 1 year demonstrated experience in a production plant
- 1 year demonstrated experience in explosives production
Duties
- Assist with the emulsifier and raw material batch preparation
- Fulfil stand-in duty for the process controller during meal breaks and while on leave
- Must be competent in the monitoring and shut down of the system during upset conditions
- Must be competent in controlling the emulsifier making and batch preparation process via the PLC/HMI
- Stand-in as leave cover
- Must be able to fulfil the duties of the emulsifier/ISA Loading and general housekeeping
- Perform quality control testing of raw materials and products
- Continue to perform duties of a forklift driver
- May be required to assist with product loading at INNOVEX plant
