Artisan Boilermaker UG (REF: IVP-ENG-2406) at Ivanhoe Mines

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Grade 12/ NQF 4 or equivalent
• Relevant Trade Certificate
• Coded Welder would be advantageous
• First Aid Level I Certificate

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

• Minimum of 4 years relevant in a similar role.
• Experience in a mining environment is a requirement.

The Role requirements include, but not be limited to:

• Read blueprints to determine the location, position, and dimensions of mechanical structures.
• Lay out prefabricated parts of larger structures before assembling them.
• Assemble structures, often using robotic or automatic welders.
• Replace or repair broken valves, pipes or joints using hand and power tools, gas, torches, and welding equipment.
