- We are looking to recruit an Advertising Coordinator to work within our Marketing department. The role will be based at the Head Office in Cape Town.
Job description
Job Purpose:
- To co-ordinate activities for above the line promotions and ensure that the related processes are maintained and followed as per the promotional calendar.
Job Objectives:
- To ensure that the promotional vehicles are created and the required page ownership and marketing instruments are assigned timeously based on agreed calendar.
- To apply the appropriate page layout, design and templates to each leaflet vehicle based on the pre-promotions planning meeting.
- To assign primary and secondary sub-department owners to each promotional offer block.
- To ensure that all promotional offers are completed timeously and consolidate all promotional pages after lock-down and send to the Studio.
- To act as a liaison between the Studio and the Merchandise team in respect of merchandise sign-off to ensure adherence to promotional processes and guidelines.
- To manage the promotional workflow and tasks to agreed timelines.
- To manage the image order process to ensure that images are sources timeously to ensure promotions are completed based on agree deadlines.
- To provide administrative assistance in producing minutes, agenda’s and reports timeously and accurately.
Minimum requirements
Job Experience:
- Advertising and Promotions with Marketing administrative skills
Education:
- National Diploma in Marketing Management
Job Knowledge & Skills:
- Marketing experience, exposure to briefings
- Financial experience, understanding of terminology regarding margins and planned sales figures
